I've seen them at Target. The lil bastards try their best at tempting me to buy them everytime I see them, lol. But I'm holding strong since I'm a Marvel guy.
...anyone seen these yet? Several oddball, non-mainstream DC characters have been released, including Dr. Fate, Red Tornado, Elongated Man and the biker longhaired version of Aquaman (which I like better than wussy orange shirt Aquaman anyway--needless to say). Pretty cool, even if they are just tiny statues (Aquaman has some extra articulation, elbows knees and waist). I am not a huge fan of the animated style, but it was so cool to see some of these guys in a mass-market release that I could not resist.
Anyway...just thought I would share.

I haven't seen them "face-to-face" yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up buing some of them, just because I love that damn show.

I have yet to see the figs, but nearly had to change my underwear after seeing the first episode of the show. It's fucking brilliant to see some minor characters getting some mainstream exposure.

What is this "DC" property you speak of?
Is it a Marvel knock off?
Naw, its some other comic book company...they make Archie and Superman or something. They actually have a few cool characters...but they never appear unless SuperWonderBatPerson needs them for some reason or another.
Thanks for filling me in on that.
I might have to check them out - although, it does sound like a cheesy Marvel Knockoff
...so...those of you who have actually seen the show (DA does not watch the television and doesn't have cable/satellite in any case)...are the figures in scale or what? I was just noticing that WW is a bit taller than a couple of the guys...Red Tornado is the shortest...and Aquaman is friggin' huge. He's the tallest of any of the few I have, and more buff as well (his shoulders are massive). Seems a little odd to me...is Mattel just not very good at scaling or what?
Aquaman does have huge shoulder in the animated show, but red tornado isn't short at all
If you look at the first pic on this link you se a "relative" scale...

and part 2 just for fun
I am loving this series. It's one of the best DC lines since Super Powers.
I haven't picked up Aquaman or any of the new JLU characters but the scale of the seven main characters, as well as Darkseid and Luthor, seem fairly accurate to me. Martian Manhunter is the tallest of the heroes, GL and Flash the shortest, and Darkseid towers above all of them.
